Parkwegkliniek Sommer has the goal to inform you as well as possible about your medical condition. Subsequently, it is important that a potential treatment is discussed with you clearly. Our clinic offers professional care in dermatology, gynecology, urology, hand surgery and Plastic surgery present.

Collaborations

Parkwegkliniek Sommer works closely together with several other parties: for example, the microscopic examination of the skin and the blood analysis are executed by the Reinier de Graaf Hospital.
In the field of pelvic floor physiotherapy we enjoy a close collaboration with the Limburg network of acknowledged pelvic floor therapists.
Treatment of advanced stages of skin cancer takes place in collaboration with the head-neck team (multidisciplinary consultation of dermatology/KNO/jaw surgery/plastic surgery/radiotherapy) of the MUMC+.
Extensive varicose vein diagnostics and -treatments are performed together with the cardiovascular center of MUMC+.
Our urologists refer to the MUMC+ for additional MRI examination if necessary. There is a collaboration with the MUMC+ urology department, Professor van Koeveringe.
Collaboration between our gynaecologists and the MUMC+ has also been agreed upon in order to help patients quickly in case of referral.

Client Council

Internal stakeholders should be able to influence the care, services and direction of the healthcare organisation. This is one of the topics of the Care Governance Code 2022. Participation of clients and their relatives (client council) ic of great importance for determining the direction of the care organisation, monitoring the social objectives of the organisation and sharing values and norms. For this reason, Parkwegkliniek Sommer conducts an active and transparent policy for dealing with participation bodies, such as a client council.
