Nicole Kelleners-Smeets studied medicine and trained as a dermatologist in Maastricht. Since 2006, she has enjoyed working as a general dermatologist at the MUMC+ in Maastricht, where she is jointly responsible for specialist skin cancer care.

She finds it challenging to find both a diagnosis and appropriate treatment for every patient, from young to old.
