Anticonception

Anticonception is a method to prevent the fertilization of an egg cell and/or the implantation of a fertilized egg cell and to make the changes of pregnancy as small as possible. This can be done in different ways:

·        By creating barrier between the egg cell and sperm cells, so that they cannot reach each other. This can be done with a condom or a sterilization.

·        Hormonal treatments. For example: the anticonception pill, the anticonception pill prevents the egg cell of the woman from riping and ovulating.

·        Prevent a fertilized egg cell from implanting in the uterus. This can be done with an IUD.
